Reign Florist is a sound installation in which the resonant frequencies of a series of wine glasses are recorded and then randomly played back through the glasses.  With the aid of contact microphones and audio exciters, the glasses-themselves excellent transmitters of sound-are effectively turned into loudspeakers, creating a sound that has elements of both the natural and the surreal.

This piece was included in a group show titled Articulation, at the Hornell Arts Center in Hornell, New York.
